A gorgeous dried flower deep red in colour makes a delicious drink hot or cold with a fruity taste that is tangy and sweet. When steeped it produces a red colour immediately, depending on length of time for steeping the colour continues to deepen in its redness. Hibiscus is such a beautiful flower in its natural form, dried or steeped. Caffeine free.

How to serve hibiscus tea

Hot tea

Boil kettle, add 2g (1tspn) to teapot or infuser, steep 2-4 mins or longer depending on strength you prefer, strain, enjoy.

Add honey, agave or sugar to taste.

Cold tea

For a cold refreshing drink, steep the tea as described above, let it cool.  Add crushed ice. We top ours with a little slice of orange or sprig of peppermint.

Hibiscus gin!

Why not add a little cold hibiscus tea to your choice of gin, it will add a tangy taste a burst of colour to your gin.
