When steeped it produces a red colour immediately, depending on length of time for steeping the colour continues to deepen in its redness. How to serve hibiscus tea
Boil kettle, add 2g (1tspn) to teapot or infuser, steep 2-4 mins or longer depending on strength you prefer, strain, enjoy.
Add honey, agave or sugar to taste.
For a cold refreshing drink, steep the tea as described above, let it cool. Add crushed ice. We top ours with a little slice of orange or sprig of peppermint.
Why not add a little cold hibiscus tea to your choice of gin, it will add a tangy taste a burst of colour to your gin.
