Herbal Tea, also known as Tisane, are caffeine free.

Teas from blends such as chamomile, peppermint, redbush, lemon verbena, hibiscus etc. are truly not teas but tisanes or commonly known as herbal teas. These tisanes come from the herb plant and do not contain leaves from the camellia sinensis tea plant. To make a loose leaf herbal tea is quite simple. You just need to remember to steep it for a longer time than say a loose leaf black tea or a loose leaf green tea to get the full flavour.

To make your loose leaf herbal tea just boil the kettle, pour water over a teaspoon of loose leaf herbal tea, allow to steep for more than 2-3 minutes and enjoy. The longer you allow your loose herbal tea to steep the deeper the flavour. Add sugar or honey to taste.

For multiple steeps, you can top up your drink with hot water as often as you like. With each steep the flavour of the loose leaf herbal tea will be different but just as delicious.
