Certified Organic Pearly is a gunpowder green loose leaf tea. We call it the precious ‘pearl’ in our green tea range. The leaves are rolled into the shape of little pinhead pellets resembling gunpowder, hence the name. It is just beautiful to watch each individual leaf as it unfurls or ‘explodes’ when steeped. The tea has a subtle, smooth taste with a hint of smokiness. This is a great alternative to black tea and can be drunk any time or day of the year. There are lots of benefits to green tea. It is relaxing, reviving and a good pick me up drink. This is definitely a precious pearl you can enjoy time and time again.
